Powder coats can withstand temps to 400 deg F. I couldn't see how the manifold could get that hot with water passing through it. Not even my brothers air-cooled Porsche reaches a head temp that high.

It would depend on what kind of black you want. i've seen people prime and paint their bumpers, but I don't care for it. It seems to give the B the modern car plastic bumper look. All I did with mine
