The MGB caliper is not much heavier than the Spridget caliper but the Spitfire rotor is. I don't have a scale so can't tell you exactly how much. Maybe a pound or two. I'm using a stock type stub ax

You are correct. I ordered the MM set you are talking about and had to send it back. They make it sound just like the Frontline kit. The MM flyer ad was not well written. I tried to fit the Spax kit
