Since 'show' quality can involve intensive labor, some of this stuff slips over the border to Mexico. There is a plater in Dubuque, Iowa that does excellent production plating for Harley Davidson et.

Stainless steel is marvelous stuff and can be polished to almost chrome-like finish. I do a lot of stuff in stainless. One is the windshield tenon plates on the TR3. They are polished to high degree
