I have similar symptoms although not as severe.. my current diagnosis is the my radiator cap, as yours may be, is not actually sealing on the inner section. I noticed this because there is nice shiny

We used to add lye IIRC to accelerate the process and only captured the gas coming off of one electrode, damn if I remember which one tho', was it pos being hydrogen? Or the other way around? Lester
