I bought it new in 70 it was a 69 great car 5 speed trans,DOHC engine,4 wheel disks came with Michelin X tires It would do 70 all day long and get 30 mpg.Pretty hi-tech design for it's day Living in

On a 77 you shouldn't have to do any hacking I put a CD stereo in my 79 with no problems but had to remove it because it skipped too much I don't think you will be happy with a CD because the MG ride

I put in Redline synthetic tranny oil a few hundred miles ago.Here are my finding: 1 smoother shifts 2 used to jump out of 3rd gear when descending hills or letting off the gas in 3rd,doesn't do that
