Sounds like a nice way to get them off. One point however. NOS stands for "New Old Stock" which means the parts were made new at the time of manufacture, however were never put on a vehicle and used.

That's not a good thing, Monte. DOT3 is reported to eat the rubber of british car brakes. You might need to replace all the rubber (redo the calipers again, new hoses, new rubber for the cylinders).
