check out www.britishwiring.com Granted their multi pin connectors are not the 'stock' rubber types used in MGs. but they are the type used in Triumphs, Jags, Healeys etc etc. All their stuff is true

When I mounted my tube shocks on my BGT I didn't use the plate at all. I simply put a long bolt through the frame at the orig. front mount hole. Works fine and ride feels right. http://www.teglerizer

You could have easily dropped the drive gear back in a tooth or two off. A simple fix.... just move the spark plug wires around the clock one position and set the dist body back 90 degrees. WOW! ...j
