There was a dipstick on earlier transmissions. It is accessed through a hole in the transmission tunnel just behind the console. The dipstick was deleted later in production. Not sure when. I don't h

Catrol won't do it. We're looking for Pennzoil. As they have/had marketing messages that said something to the effect of either: made from pure Pennsylvania crude or made from Pennsylvania GRADE crud

When I pulled mine to put a wheel from a '72 on a few months ago, I loosened (but didn't remove) the bolt, and then used my knees to push the wheel to me, and rapped on the column end with a hammer.
