I've seen this color on a TR-2, and I've have to say that it loks *very* '50s to me. In fact, while its kinda neat, it looks extremely dated by now. I have a friend who got the build sheet on his TR-

I wasn't going to jump in on this discussion, but I feel that I have to now. I had some steel wheels straightened while I was doing everything else on my TR-3 (the proverbial 8 year restoration). Soo

Rik Schlierer and Andy Mace both made good points about recovering the doglegs and door cappings of TR-3's. While I don't know for sure whether they are "supposed" to be leather or vinyl, I can tell

Nope, sorry; TR-3's and TR-4's are unusual in having rear wheel studs that screw in from the front and are then peened over from the back. Please do not weld them in place - I've just recently gone t

That wasn't stated very well. I was removing some studs that had been welded when they were installed, and then broke at a later date. No-one welded broken studs into my TR-4's rear hubs... BTW, shea

This is often caused by leaving the car sitting for long periods of time with the handbrake engaged. Remember to release the handbrake and chock the wheels when you put your car away for the winter.
