It seems that a good deal of concern has been expressed regarding the synchros: i.e. that they are made of brass. From what I've dug up on the 'net so far it seems that the OEM synchros for the Z box

No. You have to open it up and look Servo first followed by B-W. However they would mix them during the production run. Plus they might get swapped out during the life of the car. Best regards, Fred

Just got a reply from a gentleman at Clevite. He searched their obsolete warehouse stock for timing gears but no joy. He said that tooling up for a run would require at least 1000 units. :^( Oh well!
