I may have been the one who spoke of priming the switch. All I know is that bleeding the system wasn't working. I bled the system and it felt just like it always does but the switch wouldn't work. If

I too have had a great deal of trouble with my stop light switch. I do use Girling. I bled the system a couple of times, primed the switch and it still wouldn't work 9 out of 10 times. I found I had

Thanks to everyone who has replied. Yesterday I loosened the bolts on the starter and slid it out to make sure it wasn't binding in the ring gear. When I tightened the bolts back down I added a nice

I was overhauling my '66 Alpine's clutch master and slave. All was going well until I realized that the return spring on my master was cracked. That might explain why it wasn't working to begin with.
