Ebay has a person selling 30amp Kubota (Denso) alternators, new, unused for $50 per (150081373333). I have an email into him to find out how the pulley is attached, as I would look to change it out.

Production GCR authorized modifications D.4.a.1 still reads 4 speed + OD = 4 speed unless the cars spec line allows it....Other categories may be different... Not that I wouldn't mind trying a 5spd..
