- One thing you may want to look at would be a vacuum leak to the anti-run-on valve. This very thing happened to me. Steve -80 mgb

- Hi Gang, This is my first call for help so be gentle. I've got an 80 mgb with a trunk lock mechanism whose pawl securing screw has backed off to the point it won't turn along with the key when unlock

- My fans ( 80 mgb ) both started squealing a few years back and from trial and error, I ended up lubing the bushings with a mix of bearing grease and graphite power and have not had a problem for year
