According to Robson, it was built for Walter Sulke, a Triumph dealer in Hong Kong. After its initial Southeast Asia tour, it came to Kas who installed the 2 liter 6 cylinder and campaigned it in SCC

Today, I had an opportunity to see if Kas' suggestion to add graphite to the gear oil did any good. I have to say that after doing so, there was no repeat of the downshift problem that I experienced
