Thanks kev, You did save me some typing. The only change I made was to make different brackets and I used bolts thru the to Sprite radiator supports and into little "L" brackets on the geo radiator.

Hal If you are only replacing the 1/2 shaft, you do not have to drop the axle. Pull the drums, remove the axle screw, pull out the axles. If you get lucky, you can pop out the busted piece with a bro

Red to red (tail lights) grees/purple is brake light, it goes to same socket as the red wire. green white or green red is the signals. They go to the top socket. I forget which side is g/w or g/r but
