Well, they were I believe an option on the Volvo 120 (Amazon) but standard on the Volvo 1800 as well as Amazon GT.. But this is the early model, only for Volvo 1961-1964 production, I believe correct

Close ;-) Volvo 1800 shell was actually done by Pressed Steel at least up to chassis 10000, while Jensen assembled them only up to chassis 6000. Volvo was not satisfied both with Jensen and Pressed

I also found out from David Ward, it as a scaled down version of the Austin Seven seat.. Geoff Healey's first car was an Austin Seven - maybe that's why? :-) I am still curious though how it looked.
