I would generalize this a bit. Just go to a junkyard and take ANY small air conditioning setup, and make it work. Even the MGB kits were aftermarket, so they didn't have any really nice MG-style part

That time frame is normally good for unhardened paint. However if you wait that long for hardened paint it will be EXTREMELY hard and polishing will be all but impossible. 2-3 days or so. -- Trevor B
