I work in the woodworking industry and the relief holes in the saw blades sometimes will catch air and whistle ,maybe it could be the slots,if you have other wheels you could switch and find out FWIW

I got lazy and instead of rebuilding my master cylinders for a 69 midget I was messing with for a friend,I installed a pedal box assembley from a 77 with no problems at all.FWIW Brad
