Had the same issue here. Vent hose runs from top of fuel cell to a bulkhead fitting through the trunk floor. First time I used it there were getting panicked calls from corners that I was dumping fue

Once you start using a lot of fuel the pump might not keep up, especially if it has some wear. Pressure is just resistance to flow so if the output flow remains constant during an increase in demand

I've got several cans of cosmolene, I think I'll just spray them down and stack them on end using 2x4s keeping the top and bottom surfaces off the concrete. I'll have to look into the Ballistol spray
