I saw the same that you discribe at a Hankook racing tire. Hankook said that was a production error. The tire wasn't cleaned before he got the thread pattern. The new set of tires he got was okay...t

Nice idea - really! I use Overdrive springs for the Weber mounting. Take one of the OD springs and cut them into pieces...never failed 'till now. Knock on wood. Chris (TR4 #74)
