In theory you are probably correct that the cylinders will hold the pressure. However, the idea seems ill advised to me. You could damage the seals. Then after you did it the MC would have air in it

I might of done some further inspection of the dizzy to assure myself that there were no obstructions in it. The points should only open on the high point of the cam so you are good there. Best regar
