I looked at using the IFS off of a 74 Chevy pickup and came to the same conclusion, its to wide, and it will raise the front end quite a bit. I can't see a way to narrow it, the A frames are just to

Correct me if I'm wrong ..but, Isn't the reason for a sealed and pressurize cooling system so that you can exceed boiling point (212 degrees) without boiling over. The same effect as a pressure cooke
