Redline also makes a gear oil that is less slippery, MTL-NS that I believe is intended for older brass synchro boxes. Might be a better choice. John

Don, It may well matter if the flywheel and crank were balanced as a unit. Normal procedure when separating flywheel is to mark both flywheel and crank, probably with a punch. Look for marks. John
