I seem to recall reading an article on the power assist units that mounts to the tie rod, this was an original setup and some vendors have always carried these. Don't have a clue how good or not good

The first question to be asked is, did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installing? This is a must "to do" as you'll go round and round with bleeding process if this is not done. The frustr

Most m/c's comes with the instructions but you basically plug the output ports, they usually come with small plastic threaded plugs already in the ports. Fill it with fluid and slowly press the plung

I have a 70 Nova rear end under my TF and 8 inch wheel with 245 60 tires fit great, and are tucked a bit under the fender lip. I doubt if a 10 including tire would tuck without tubbing, I went round

The rear end should be comparable in width so either should fit, I recall the 82 and newer used a smaller ring gear so the older 70-81 rears are better. Don't forget to figure out the rear end ratio

Yep, mine hit the same bolt head if its the one that mounts the m/c adapter bracket to the frame? I ground it down for clearance although still tight, didn't want to take off to much. -wayne oletruck
