during my engine tranny swap between my two BGT's... I bolted the mount to the tranny...then the mount to the cross member... then lifted the tail end up and mounted the cross member. ...YMMV but it

you got it 'bass-ackward' Dan a thinner needle will allow more gas to slip by it. a smaller diameter needle filling a hole leaves a larger gap around the needle for gas to pass. Paul Tegler 1973 MGBG

the star washer would 'supposedly' dig in to the metal and give you a ground... BUT! ...you are minimizing the actual contact area. You would be much better off cleaning the areas down to shiny bare
