You have fuel percolation in the carb float bowls. Fit a heat shield between the carbs and exhaust manifold so heat rising from the exhaust manifold doesn't heat the carbs as fast. Also check to mak

I believe chlorine gas is heavier than air so it settles. The last time I did it, I used a couple of tablespoons Red Devil lye and poured about cup of bleach over the lye. I haven't seen them since.
