How does the MGA heater valve compare to that of the MGB? Mine was a piece of junk also, but I got a free replacement (not from moss). Mine was in a cardboard box, but country of origin is unknown.

My position on these kinds of parts is a little different. I would be perfectly willing to accept a part that needs a little fiddling to make it right IF the low quality is reflected in the price and

I agree. And why bother selling a bonnet that is 1/4" to 1/2 inch narrower than the original or the hole it is meant to cover? You can't convince me that anyone can "fiddle" with that enough to make
