Greg, Thanks for the info. Do you suppose this refers to "wetting" with gasoline? That would probably hinder starting since only vaporized fuel can burn, not liquid. More importantly, would the head

I've seen a few heads done by some of the leading Rover V8 tuners in the UK. Some of them remove the deflector while others leave it alone. All these heads seem to perform well so I doubt that it ma
