You may have another problem as u-joints are most easily heard when you take your foot off the gas and the pressure is let off the joints. When you are accelerating you could hear the same noise but

I've found that if you put it in first, roll it forward a bit, then put it in reverse and roll it a bit, you will notice a large clank when changing directions. Short of that, jack it up, grab the dr
