The DPO used SAE bolts in a few of the oil pan holes on my XPAG engine. They look like they where just forced in without any tapping. Should I reuse these SAE bolts? I'm afraid going back to the orig

If you want to risk the bolts stripping further or falling out in due course, Bob, just re-using the SAE bolts is the way to go. {G} The proper way to fix this problem is really simple, however. Buy

I don't know much about Whitworth fasteners, but the SAE's can't be too far off from the originals, or they wouldn't have gone in at all. You may get by with running the proper tap in the hole to cle
