hello guys, im having some trouble getting to the 8th plug. I cant seem to get the the plug in the firewall from the inside. When i try to get the carpet pulled down, the gas pedal assembly is in the

yea thats what i did for all the other plugs. It took me along time too. When i used me box end, it was a long wrench. Can i still get to the sparkplug socket? Did u have to take anything off that w

Your pic deleted by List. Can't send pics to the list. I amended my first post. The LONG one is for the bell housing. The short one for the spark plug. May need wobble short ratchet. Use inside car.

I've always been able to eventually get to #8 (either through the trans tunnel plug or by jamming my hand under the master cylinders and getting a socket on it). A bigger problem is getting the plug

I second that motion. With a 1 1/2 extension, 3inch extension and 3/8 socket wrench, it takes about 1 hour to change all 8 plugs. Right side are all easy Left side plug #7 is a bit tight. The secret

One way to make spark plug changes easier, is to clean up the treads. Use a tread chase, with grease to hold the carbon, dirt, etc., then turn the engine over with the spark plugs removed, to help bl

Interesting. I thought maybe I was the only whacko that pulled the steering column to change the plugs. A little bit of a problem but I found it saved several layers of skin on the knuckles as well.
