That "D.C. shop" might have been the same one I used in Alexandria (AFAIK the only one in the DC area). As you did, I did all body work and surface prepping and removed all chrome and side molding,

Why didn't you tell me this about 5 years ago. I had the Dupont TOO BRIGHT YELLOW for the 510 custom mixed. Two gallons of color, the reducer, the clear and primer were around $1100, IIRC. Ouch! But
