- I'm about to start working on a '62 TR4 that has been in storage for at least 15 years. Other than changing the fluids, plugs. filters, and battery; priming the oil system. what should I do before at

- Really, nothing. The brakes will undoubtedly have to be rebuilt, as will the clutch, but starting the engine shouldn't need anything else. Maybe check for spark while you have the plugs out.... Bill

- Personally, I'd remove the plugs and give each cylinder a healthy shot of PB Blaster (or your favorite penetrating oil), then leave it sit for awhile, maybe several days while you attend to other ma

- and at some point prior to driving you may want to replace all the coolant hoses... if the old ones are basically sound you'll have a nice set of spares. Easy & cheap to change them all to new at the
