Got this Morgan about a month ago and just registered it on the Morganville web site. When I looked up my listing it had been changed from a +4 to a 4/4, I assume because of the #B1171 on the chassis

Hi John. Yup, this seems like another Morgan mystery. To my knowledge, all four-seaters made in the 60's were +4's ( with a few known exeptions). So it appears that the only thing wrong with the comb

Just spoke to someone who said that no 4/4's where made with the 4 place body. But mine is defiantly a 4 place. Can anyone clear this up? Also aren't the 4/4 and +4 chassises different dimensions? An

Your car may be a parts car. 4/4 4 seaters were made after your car's chassis was made. Your original engine number should be stamped on the center lip of your bonnet. Harris
