Carl, on early TR2-3 cars, there were 2 locking screws on each side, sort of like slotted head dzus fasteners, that allowed you to unlock and slide the windshield forward and off. Later cars deleted

I beg to differ on this reply. TS75519 has an adaptor plate that is different than the early style. I agree that the original design had an adaptor that screwed to the body and both sides of the wind

Hi George, Dzus fasteners traditionally were slotted head pins with a patented hook in the tip. This hook engaged a bent wire sping in the base. They're also called quarter-turn fasteners. Bob Stahlb

I have used stanchions and adapter plates that I did not use on my car if anyone is interested. The chrome is typically worn. I searched the yards and dug these parts up before I realized my pre TS6
