- What is the original finish of the stock intake manifold of the 75 TR6? I have cleaned up my manifold and I am unsure of how this originally came from the factory. Was there a silver painted surface

- Original finish was brushed aluminum. When I put a new engine in my 73 I had it bead blasted and finished it with Crystal Clear Powder Coat. It looks great and has held up well for the past two years

- Are you sure about that ? All the Triumph intakes I've seen look pretty much "as cast" ... why would they bother brushing them ? I've not looked at many TR6 intakes, but I've got a GT6 manifold that
