Was the tank full over winter? - any chance that condensation (water) could have built up in the tank? Is the tank recoated? Rust silt lying in the fuel line can cause some strange symptoms... Steve

Since the problem gets worse as the car warms up, I'd think it was possible that something electrical was breaking down as it got hot. Also, since changing the fuel mixture didn't make a difference,
