Although it would SEEM like the slot should sweep backwards, I had also heard that the slot with the end towards the outside edge should rotate forward and hit the pad first. On the TR6, my mechanic installed the EBS rotors with the tips on the outer portion of the rim of the rotors 'trailing', or pointing towards the back.
