- just acquired a 76 tr6 and having electrical prpblems . the car seems to have set for a while .my ? now is that the brake light doesn't go off ,also can't get the headlights to go on any help is appr

- New Member, While it's always a good idea to clean all the ground connections these problems sound switch related to me. The brake light switch is on relatively flexible tab down at the brake pedal.

- I saw several replies regarding the switch for the brake lights, but it also occurred to me that you may be referring to the brake warning light on the dash. That is controlled by the PDWA assembly,

- i too have a 76 tr6. headlights could be the switch. sometimes (i had this issue) the switch gets hot, and melts the lubricating grease. this grease covers the contacts. not good. my headlights would
