The much more civilized Alpine did not need a Panhard Rod to produce manueverability which, all else being equal, routinely leaves Tigers in the dust on any sort of decent back road. The original Tig

Geez, except ................. the Works added one leaf to the rear stack of the Tiger (just like the Hillman Minx suspension V the Sunbeam Rapier) and then balanced it using stiffer front springs...
