Has anyone used a TR4A lightened steel flywheel as sold by BPNW? I have one in the new TR4A. I had to use a TR6 slave with a shortened TR4A pushrod to get the throw correct and today I installed the

Thanks for the offer. This morning for comparison I measured a TR3 engine I have on my own floor and pulled an old starter. Since the starter pinion gears come at the flywheel from opposite directio

Bob, our starters are designed to cover only 50% of the ring gear. The gear reduction starter release by the engine running. If it cover s the entire ring gear, there is a chance it will hang up and
