Hmmm. Interesting thought. I haven't used them on a race car but I helped a friend install a set in his 1949 Chev truck. they were Kevlar and glass monosprings and a fairly complex anti-tramping setu

I think that MGs and Sprites have an aftermarket glass spring...I was going to measure one for length and get the specs...must be close and adaptable, but not high on my list of priorities. Any thoug
