If in doubt get a bigger hammer. It's shock that gets the stub axles out, remove the steering arm and refit the nut so it is level with the end of the shaft, then hit the nut/stub axle with a big cop

I had very little problems getting the stock axel stubs out. I didn't have a press though, I think I used what we call a single jack or it might have been a half jack. I basically took the upright an

This is the experience I've had with the several kits I've installed. The sudden blow seems to do it better than constant pressure. The last two kits I installed I didn't remove the uprights from the

This is the way I did it. I raised the car, loosed the upper ball joint and rack end, swiveled the upright until parallel to the floor, put a piece of 1 /2" pipe over the stub axel to the floor and h
