I have an aluminum radiator and a cast iron block, of course. Looking at all the stuff that happens inside there over the winter, I suspect that galvanic action is alive and well through the winter.

I drain it. I figure the engine gets torn down so often and the coolant replaced so often that any nastiness that forms in the radiator and block will get removed or flushed before it does any harm.

I use the 50% water/50% antifreeze, method and change the oil before storage. I store in an unheated garage. If that matters.
