Do any of you FOT'ers have a recommendation of a good machine shop in the SF Bay Area? I am prepping 3x TR250/6 blocks and need someone to line bore the cam journals to accept Spitfire cam bearings.

I reccomend Carl stirtz at Stirtz machine in Oakland He's been doing triumph and other racing and stock engines for years..He just did my Spitfire engine....and is on the FOT..he's building a TR4 and

Elgin in Redwood City has a long history of working on little British cars. Dick Nyquist used to swear by Clark's Machine Shop in Mtn View (my listing still has a 415 area code, so it's been a while)
