The only place that my aeroquip uses the tacky and possibly dangerous hose clamps is to connect the line to the carb. Even the aeroquip rollover fuel cell vent line has an AN fitting. So, pretend for

Just as a precaution,and I don't know all the vintage rules, BUT, SCCA now requires that carbs with a non-threaded fuel inlet fitting MUST replace them by drilling and tapping the carb for a threaded
