- Lucas was way ahead of their time in electronics. Diane's car has a rain detection system that automatically turns the wipers on when the windscreen gets wet, and turns them off when it's dry. Lucas

- On a serious note . . . I have heard of using the TR3 light switch with a TR4A wiper motor to get the "two speed" wipers on an earlier car. Never tried it myself though. Ed Major '58 TR3A, '68 TR250

- Just a heads up... I got my lift from a source that bears some investigation for our uses My F-I-L worked for a company that installed lifts at car dealers. Turns out they replace them every few year
