For my money, the best listening on the road is old radio shows like The Shadow, Philip Marlowe, Gunsmoke, Green Hornet and even Fibber McGee and Molly. Even the kids will be quiet (at least our kid)

I agree! I took my XM portable with me when I drove out west last fall. Plenty of jazz, rock and was able to keep up with Air America too... OBTW, I did bring a collection of CDs with me... Bix Beid

I have been enjoying XM for about a year now. Has channels for 40's,50's,60's.70's,80's,90's each is separate Also bluegrass, several country channels and most anything including the old radio shows
