I assume you mean flat tappets, or are you just asking about solid versus hydraulic lifters? If you mean flat tappets I don't think it will work very well. Roller cams ground for roller lifters take

Just a question. So I guess that you are not in favour of this technology? Not roller rockers but roller cam and solid roller lifters. I already use roller rockers "sham on me" and I am smiling :) J

You won't see a huge increase in power from adding a roller cam. I don't remember what engine you're using, but the increase in flow created by having longer duration enabled by the steep lifting ram
