Two issues I read here. You developed a leak at the head gasket left side. Front or rear? Are you sure or is it just a valve cover leak? You blew by into the catch can. Not uncommon. Did you get happ

Valve cover..Good point...if it's coming from the valve cover, and you're filling your catch tank, check to see that the set screw that fits into the rocker pedestal has not come out...that will fill

I have had holes in pistons, broken or worn rings and leaking head gaskets that caused excessive crankcase pressure and filling the overflow bottle. Just hope it is something simple like a head gaske
